That subtitle is a bit of a hyperbole. I couldn’t begin to name my favorite cookbook (it’s like identifying your favorite child), never mind a list of my best picks. It’s a fickle undertaking. Yesterday I was all-in for reigniting my bread obsession, today (because we’re in holiday mode) I’m on a quest for a new cookie, and tomorrow I’ll want an easy peasy dinner.
BUT, if I was stranded on a desert island (with a kitchen, some pots and pans, and a good grocery store ) I would want to take these five cookbooks with me.
